CIRCULAR TO PARISHIONERS WEEK 91 - FEB 25, 2006
ST. VALENTINE’S DAY BENEFIT DINNER DANCE
180 parishioners and friends attended the St. Valentine’s Benefit Dance on 10th February at the
Waterside Inn, Port Credit. From the positive feedback received, it looks like this will become an
annual event.
We thank all who supported the Gala - the sponsors, the donors, the organisers and the many generous
supporters. Over $10,000.00 has been raised and these funds will assist Solidarité-Sud (Haïti) in
their Petite Place Cazeau school building project in Port- au-Prince, Haiti.

APPOINTMENTS
Fr. Steven Szakaczki has been appointed Administrator of our parish until the pastoral care
is taken over by Carmelite Fathers. Fr. Octavio Beltran’s sabbatical has been extended till
that time. (Reprinted from parish bulletin dated February 12, 2006).
Fr. Joyson Pottackal O. Carm. will take over the pastorship of our parish in the Fall. We look forward
to the restoration of our beloved parish after so many years of spiritual neglect and mismanagement.
