| Sisters and Brothers, of St. Martin of Tours: We, whose hearts are aching, implore you to attend the most crucial meeting in the history of St. Martin of Tours since its inception in 1969. Issues that are currently causing division among the People of God must be dealt with thoroughly and resolved. However painful this is, let us carry it through so that the healing process and reconciliation can commence - the reconciliation we all earnestly desire and need. This is three months overdue. Bishop Boissonneau has stated the need for open dialogue and the need to establish a representative Parish Council. All agree with His Excellency, and in response to the urgency displayed we entreat ALL PARISHIONERS to participate in an Open Forum in a constructive and loving manner. Let us draw strength from our differences and rebuild our diverse Family of God in union with the bishops in Mother Church. Let the love we have for each other transcend our human shortcomings (and yes, we all have some), and let us reaffirm our belief in the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting.
